Y.E.S Ministry

PMBC’s Young Adults Ministry brings energy, creativity and fresh perspectives to spread the word of Jesus Christ! If you are a Young Adult between the ages of
18-35, join the YES Ministry! The Y.E.S Ministry meets every
fourth Sunday AFTER Morning Worship Service.

MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of the Y.E.S. Ministry is to recruit, retain and develop young adults to grow closer to Jesus Christ. To exalt Christ in our families and to promote a healthy lifestyle that demonstrates that we are led by the spirit of The Lord. We will be an example and encourager of the youth to show them how a spirit-filled young person should live. To be a voice for The Lord and evangelize by

sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 4:12 - Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Plan of Salvation

Did you know that God loves you? He loves you so much that he sent his son Jesus to die for you
(Romans 5:8)! BUT……Do you deserve his love? Are you worthy of his love?  The answer is no. You are not perfect; you are a sinner who has fallen short of God’s plan for you (Romans 3:23). The Penalty for your sin is death (Romans 6:23)…But, the gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ. Eternal Life is only available to those who trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9).

What you must do:

1-Admit that you are a sinner and repent (Acts 17:30 & 31)

2-Believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son and that he died to save you from your sins (John 3:16).

3-Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and ask him to come into your heart
(1 Peter 3: 18)

If you have done these things, this means you are part of God's family FOREVER. Join a Bible teaching Church. We welcome you with open arms at
Progressive Missionary Baptist Church!
