WOMEN'S MISSIONARY UNION

The mission statement of the Woman's Missionary Union of the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church tells us to go and teach throughout the world the redeeming love of God through his son Jesus Christ. We are encouraged to study and pray for the needs of all mankind through giving our time, talents, influence, and our money, We strive to engage in mission action opportunities as defined in Matt 25:35-40 which tell us to feed the hungry, visit the sick, clothe and care for those who are in need and to visit those in prison. We also endeavor to teach and support the activities of the youth and
encourage our young women to live a holy and God-fearing life. “ For we are laborers together with God; ye are God’s husbandry,
ye are God’s building.” I Corinthians 3:9
